Josephin Bull, nee Blackwell, daughter of Jim and Mynisa Blackwell was born in Maries County, Missouri, January 3, 1879 and departed this life at her home July 10, 1955, being at the time of her passing 76 years, 6 months and 7 days of age. On March 26, 1899, she was united in marriage to John M. Bull and to this union eight children were born. Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, John Bull, of the home; three sons, Clifford and Chester Bull of Ashland, Ohio; Thomas Bull, Vienna, Mo; one daughter, Pearl Noblett, of Hardin, Mont. Four daughters, Murtie, Lucy, Charlice and Alice have preceded her in death, Also four brothers. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Bull had been failing in health for several years and for the last four months had been in and out of bed caused by a heart ailment. She and her husband were united with God many years ago and were well known Christian believers. There will be a vacant place in the Bull home and she will be sadly missed by her loved ones and many friends. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, July 13, 1955 at 2 p.m. at the Kenner Church with Rev. Henry Prewett officiating. Interment was made in Kenner Cemetery under direction of the Gilbert Funeral Home. (obit 21 Jul 1955, Dixon Pilot)
