Colson ca 1867 She died before 24 May 1883; James married 2d, on this date, 24 May 1883 in Maries Co, MO to Caroline Martin.

Note: 1860 census not located. Wesley Blackwell, grandson of George Blackwell [1844-1923] stated that the family made a trip to State of Kansas - stayed about one year and returned to Maries Co, MO. This appears to be correct as George's father, Lewis sold their property in 1859, originally located in Phelps Co, MO, edge of Maries Co.
