Bryant "Slim"Lewis Rites Set
Bryant "Slim" Lewis 65, of 1001 West Ada, a retired service station attendant, who worked at the Gulf Station at Second and Dotsy for twenty-one years, died early today in Medical Center Hospital after a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday in Bethlehem Baptist Church. Burial will be in Odessa Cemetery with Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home in charge.
He was born January 10,1912 in Milam County,Texas.
He was married to Annie Polk in Odessa earlier this year. he came to Odessa from Lamesa in 1946 . He was a member of the Bethlemen Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow of the home, a step-son ,Bennie Ray Hudson,Jr. of Houston, a brother, Charlie Lewis of Odessa;two sisters Elnora Hawkins of Lamesa and Lorene Lewis of Cameran; an aunt, Annie Belle Posey of Cameran and a grandchild.
