New Holstein. (Special) Miss Henrietta Tiedjens, 82, died Thursday night at 10 o'clock at the home of a nephew, Herman Tiedjens.
She was born, May 24, 1857, on a farm a mile west of here, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Tiedjens.
The family moved to New Holstein in 1868, and except for 10 years' residence in Chicago, Miss Tiedjens has always made her home here.
Only survivors are several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Gretchen Behnke and Herman Tiedjens, city, and John Tiedjens, Marinette.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home, the Rev. A. G. Schmid pastor, St. Johns Evangelical and Reformed church, officiating, with interment in New Holstein City cemetery. The body can be viewed at the funeral home from tonight on.
