Abigail Baker, dau. of Dea. John Baker & Anna Annable, b. at Barnstable, Mass. Feb. 1, 1713/4 and d. at Tolland, Conn. Dec. 24, 1786, Æ 73. Abigail was the gr.dau. of Samuel Baker & Fear Robinson, latter the dau. of the immigrant Isaac Robinson of Barnstable, Mass., son of Rev. John Robinson of the Mayflower pilgrims.

Abigail m. 1) Ichabod Lothrop on Nov. 9, 1732 at Barnstable, Mass., son of Capt. Hope and Elizabeth (Lothrop) Lothrop. He was b. at Falmouth, Mass. Jan. 20, 1707/8 and d. at Tolland, Conn. Oct. 28, 1752, Æ 45 (g.s.) They had six known children, including first born Abigail, b. of record at Tolland, Conn. Oct. 15, 1733.

Abigail m. 2) at Tolland Nov. 26, 1754, the widower Samuel West, son of Dea. Francis West & Mercy Minor. He was b. at Stonington, Conn. Apr. 10, 1700 and d. at Tolland, Conn. Feb. 3, 1779, Æ 79 (g.s.) Samuel m. 1) Sarah Delano at Tolland in 1724, and she d. at Tolland Oct. 22, 1752, Æ 48 (g.s.)

Rev. E. B. Huntington in the "Lo-Lathrop" Genealogy (1884) erred in calling Abigail (Baker) Lothrop's dau. Abigail as the second wife of Samuel West. Abigail, dau. of Ichabod Lothrop, m. Amos Fellows at Tolland Mar. 21, 1752.

On the day that Abigail died she was 72 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of her Age) 73.
