The Sioux City Journal, 26 October 1962, page A9: Mrs. Lulu Hinds, 77, a Moville resident for 43 years, died Thursday afternoon, October 25, 1962, at a Sioux City nursing home where she had resided for six months. Mrs. Hinds was born June 3, 1885, at Rock Branch, Iowa. She was married to John B. Hinds March 8, 1905. Mr. Hinds died in 1933. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Thelma Hinds of Moville, a sister, Mrs. Clara Bohm of Littleton, Colorado, and a granddaughter. A daughter, Mrs. Glen Tracewell, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the McCulloch Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Carver of the Moville Federated Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Branch Cemetery.
