Mrs. Mabel Bernice Tracewell, 47, a resident of Moville most of her life, died Wednesday May 11, 1955, at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. She was born July 28, 1907, at Anthon, the daughter of John B. Hinds and Luella May "Lulu" Tiffany. She lived at Moville from early childhood until she went to receive care in Sioux City hospitals. She was a member of the Federated Church in Moville. Survivors include the widower, Glen, a daughter, Betty, her mother, Mrs. Lulu Hinds and a sister, Miss Thelma Hinds, all of Moville. Funeral services were held at the Federated Church in Moville with Rev. William Crossley officiating. Burial was in Fairfield Cemetery, Rock Branch, under direction of Manning-O-Toole Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Clarence Livermore, Eugene Funk, Theodore Montagne, Ralph Thomas, Eugene Peters and Loren Parks. She was preceded by a son, Gordon.
