MEDICINE PARK - Funeral for Jewell Lorene Hendricks , 83, Medicine Park, will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Paradise Valley Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Overturf, pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Hendricks died Sunday.

Burial will be in Paradise Valley Cemetery, under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

She was born July 1, 1914, in Hobart. She married W.R. "Bill" Hendricks on Nov. 3, 1928, in Lone Wolf. He died Dec. 2, 1992. They moved to Medicine Park in 1928. She owned and operated B&J Laundry for more than 10 years in Medicine Park.

Survivors include three daughters: Jean Haile and Pat Hocutt, both of Medicine Park, and Billie Penick, Elgin; a son, Butch, Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, Hick Gardner, Altus; three sisters: Helen Ogel, Las Cruces, N.M.; Bernice Carroll, Altus; and Pearl Anderson, Blair; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
