Henry James Jeffers, 80, died last night at St. Catherine Hospital after a long illness.
He is survived by three daughters and three sons. They are Mrs. Sadie Burgess of St. Joseph, MO; Mrs. Pearl Tuttle of Bell gardens, Calif.; Mrs. Arvilla Migehenbrink of McCook; William Jeffers of McCook; James Jeffers of Republican City and Leo Jeffers of Omaha. Other survivors include 38 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lillie Mapes of McCook, five half sisters and three half brothers.
Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Memorial Methodist Church. The Rev. L.C. Hicks will officiate.
Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of a local funeral home.
