Mrs. Betty Lou Sullivan Wakefield, 90, resident of Life Care Center and former resident of B. Dodson Road, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Maury Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Burial will be in Cave Springs Cemetery. The Williamson County native was the daughter of the late James C. Sullivan and Vinnie Louella Davis Sullivan. She was married to Robert Ernest Wakefield who died December 23, 1986. She was a homemaker and a member of Theta Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert James (Judy) Wakefield of Columbia; three brothers, Sam (Catherine) Sullivan of Columbia, Eugene (Mildred) Sullivan of Spring Hill, Linden (Mildred) Sullivan of Mt. Pleasant; one sister, Frances Joy LeMay of Spring Hill; four grandchildren, Robbie (Jeff) Fox, Becky (Stephen) Jones, Kevin (Amber) Wakefield, Jennifer (Slayton) Martin; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Annie Lee Nall.
