C. H. "Hoot" Friedrich, 94, of Danville passed away at 6:38 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, at his residence.
He was born July 8, 1915, in Goofy Ridge, Il. to Peter and Sylvia M. Eyman Friedrich. He married Minnie H. Miller on April 16, 1948, in Havana, Il. She preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 1998.
Hoot is survived by one son, Terry L. (Sandy) Friedrich of Covington, Indiana; one daughter, Sally J. Friedrich of Zettlitz, Germany and two grandchildren, Sue (Lucas) White and Peter Matthew Friedrich, both of Covington.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, six sisters and two children, Jimmie and Sue Ellen.
