MRS. KATHERINE CANFIELD DIES
Mrs. Katherine Canfield, the oldest member of the pioneer Canfield family in Dearborn county, is dead - at the age of 88 years.

Death came to her about 3 o'clock Friday morning June 28, at her home at North Hogan. She had recently been brought home from the Good Samaritan hospital, Cincinnati, where she had been a patient for some time with a broken hip. Complications set in, it is said, and together with infirmatives of old age, death followed.

She made her home with her son Oliver Canfield. She had been a native of Dearborn county all her life.

Besides Oliver, three other sons - Wallace and Everett of Mt. Sinai, Rev. Roy Canfield, Fairview, Ind.; a daughter, Mrs. Rollie Creaser, of Greensburg, and several sisters survive.

Funeral services were conducted at Mt. Sinai, at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, June 30, with burial at Mt. Sinai Cemetery.

The funeral was largely attended by friends and relatives, who came from distant places to attend the Baker reunion at Moores Hill, on Sunday.
