Catherine Ellen, the eleven-month-old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Con J. Sullivan, died last Saturday morning [January 30, 1897] after a two weeks illness with membranous croup complicated with pneumonia. The best medical attendance and a trained nurse were called in, but to no avail. The remains were interred in Grove Hill Cemetery the following morning.
