AUGUST ROCHNER RETIRED FARMER DIES AT LANESVILLE - AGED EIGHTY-FIVE
August Rochner, well-known resident of Franklin Township, died Tuesday morning at 12:30 o'clock at his home seven miles east of Corydon. Death was caused from a lingering illness of a complication of diseases. The deceased was eighty-five years and five days of age. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a retired farmer. The remains rested at the home of his son John Rochner at Lanesville. Funeral services were held this (Wednesday) morning at 8:30 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic Church at Lanesville conducted by the Rev. Clement Hunger. Interment was in the church cemetery nearby. Surviving are three sons and four daughters John Rochner, Lanesville, August Rochner of Dewitt, Ark., Leo Rochner, Mrs. Olivia Rouck and Mrs. Elnora Goodman of Edwardsville, Mrs. Edith Schnell and Mrs. Anna Kleier of Louisville. He also leaves thirty grandchildren.
