John Walter Brush, 75, of Cardington died yesterday afternoon at White Cross Hospital in Columbus following an illness of two weeks. Born Oct. 24, 1875 in Delaware County, he was the son of James and Elizabeth Trippier Brush. He was married to the former Miss. Ora May Tharp, who survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Clark of Columbus and Mrs. Frances Bevelymer of Johnstown, three sons, Lloyd Brush of Fulton, Arthur of Mt. Gilead and Joseph of Columbus, and two sisters, Mrs. Isaac Blamer of Mansfield and Mrs. Margaret Frankelbury of Florida. Mr. Brush was a retired farmer and had lived at Cardington for 12 years. Prior to that he resided at Johnstown. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Craven Funeral Home at Mt. Gilead with Rev. F. A. LePage, pastor of the Cardington Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be made in Green Hill Cemetery at Johnstown. Friends may call at the funeral home.
