IRIS HARRISON
Iris Manning Walker Harrison, a former teacher for the Mobile County Public School System, died Friday. She was 95.
A member of Government Street Baptist Church, she was a native of Jackson County, Miss., and a resident of Malbis.
Survivors include two sons, John Walker of Spanish Fort and Stanley Walker of Gulf Shores; a daughter, Georgia Lapp of Kingswood, Texas; two sisters, Jessie Baldwin and Dean Miller, both of Mobile; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be today from 11 a.m. until the noon graveside service at Pine Crest Funeral Home and Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway.
