Robert E. McAuliffe, 61, died Tuesday at Christopher East Nursing Home. He was a retired Navy machinist mate second class, a retired employee of Estee Lauder Cosmetic Co., and a member of American Legion Post #201. Survivors: his wife, the former Fannie Wasiak; a daughter, Kathleen M. Cline of Parksley, VA; a stepson, Michael Meyer of Long Island, NY; six sisters, Mary Jo Huelsman, Patricia Benson, Helen Heil, Judith McAuliffe, Anna Muthler and Beverly McAuliffe-Bisig; and four grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Road. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway, 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
