Mrs. Ivy Bateman Krogue, 68, of Ogden died last Friday in a Salt Lake City hospital following surgery.
Born January 24, 1891 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Hurbert Bateman and Mary Jane Madsen Bateman. She married Nels L. Krogue on January 4, 1911 in the Logan LDS temple. He died January 15, 1944. She lived in Bloomington until moving to Ogden in November, 1957, where she was active in the Washington Terrace Relief Society.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Glenn Wright of Ogden; five sons, Louis B. Krogue of Hollywood, Calfironia; Widtsoe W. Krogue and Mayo J. Krogue Bloomington; Nolan L Krogue and Leonard H. Krogue of Ogden; her father, Bloomington; 14 grandchildren; and five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Lorenzo Jacobsen of Montpelier, Mrs Archie Bee of Bloomington, Mrs. John Bunn of Paris, Mrs Leo Rasmussen of Dingle, Mrs. Wallace Wood of Salt Lake City; Wiffen Bateman of Etna, Wyoming, and Otis Bateman, Ray Bateman and Ben Bateman of Bloomington.
Services were held Tuesday in Ogden and interment was made in the Bloomington cemetery.
