Lorene was born the daughter of the late Dee Witt and Lenora Woodell Lauderdale. She moved to Ackerly in West Texas when she was three years old and lived there throughout her youth. She moved to Parker County in 1950 and lived there the remainder of her life. Lorene was a nurse and spent many years working at the hospital in Azle. She was an alumni of All Saints Hospital Nursing program in Fort Worth. Lorene worked a short time at the old Campbell Hospital in Weatherford and a short time at Azle Manor Nursing Home in Azle. She retired in 1995 after 41 years of nursing. She was a charter member of the HMNW Hospital Auxilliary.
Lorene joined the Baptist church at the age of 14 and remained a Baptist the remainder of her life. She was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge. She had a full and active life.
Lorene was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Railsback; son, Frank Wade Railsback; daughter, Nora Mae; a great-grandson; parents; five brothers; and two sisters. Survivors: Son Dee Railsback and wife, Beverly, of Weatherford; two grandsons, David Wade and Dell; two brothers; three sisters; one brother-in-law; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear and special friends.
