Carl L. Guillod, 71, of 409 15th st NE, died this morning at the Kinley rest home.
Mr. Guillod, who was born in Orrville, a son of the late Julius and Marie Erzer Guillod, had lived in Canton for the last 62 years, formerly owned and operated the Guillod Market at 706 9th st SW. He was a member of Eagles Lodge and Men's Swiss Lodge.
Survivors include his widow, Zella (nee Gordon); a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Lucille M.) Huckels of Canton; two sons, Paul L. of Beach City and Joe Z. (Lucy) Guillod of Canton, the present owner and operator of the market; a sister, Mrs. Carl (Ilda May) Aebi of Canton; two brothers, Albert J. (Mabel) of Canton, and William O. (Hilda) Guillod of Cuyahoga Falls; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
