Mrs. Marie Erzer Guillod, 79, of 802 7th st NW died at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in her home after a two-month illness.

She was born in Switzerland, a daughter of the late Memrad and Katherine Winteregg Erzer, and was a resident of Canton for 30 years. She was a member of the First Reformed Church, Swiss Ladies Aid Society, Ladies Aid Society of the church, Afternoon Women's Missionary Society, Goodwill Bible Class and the Afternoon Quilters of the church.

Her husband, Julius, died in 1945.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Ilda May) Aebi of Canton; three sons, Carl (Zella) and Albert (Mabel) of Canton, and William (Hilda) of Cuyahoga Falls; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Zuereher of the home; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
