She was born Jan. 31, 1898 in Cumley, Iowa, and came to a farm community between Panhandle and White Deer in 1910. She was the foster daughter of Mrs. G.W. Turney of White Deer.
On Oct. 14, 1914, she was married to O.R. Meaker of Panhandle.
Survivors include the husband; two sons, Vincent Meaker of Amarillo and Lee Roy Meaker of Panhandle; and five grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending with the Poston Funeral Home in Panhandle.
