She was born in Akra, N. D., April 18, 1894, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Thede. Shortly after her birth, the family moved to New Holstein where she attended the district schools in the area.
She was married to Albert Jochimsen May 8, 1914 in Chilton.
Mrs. Jochimsen was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in New Holstein and the Women’s Guild of the church. She was also a member of the Equitable Reserve Association.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. John (Ruth) Mattke of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Foster (Judith) Dudley of Burlington, Wis.; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, William of New Holstein, Edmund of Abbotsford, Wis., and John of Eugene, Ore. One brother preceded her in death.
Services were held at St. John United Church of Christ with the Rev. Charles A. Koch, pastor, officiated. Burial was in New Holstein Cemetery.
