CROW--At the home of his father in Polk township Wednesday April 30th 1887, James Crow Jr., son of James and Margaret Crow, aged 16 years, 8 months and 25 days. He was known as one of the best young men in the community and during his long illness bore his sufferings without a murmur. When death claimed him he left a bright evidence that he had gone home to rest. He was buried in Fort Madison Cemetery, Thursday April 21st.
