Oscar Adams, 81, Lifelong County Resident Dies
Oscar E. Adams, age 81, lifelong resident of Lincoln County and mechanic before he retired several years ago, died at his home in Brookhaven December 9.
Son of the late J. E. and Mary M. Adams, Mr. Adams leaves his wife, Mrs. Faye Hoskins; five sons, Oscar E. Adams, Jr., Z. T. Adams, Ben C. Adams, and Versie B. Adams, and one daughter, Miss Bertha Adams.
Services were held at the Hartman Funeral Home chapel by Rev. John Moore, pastor of the First Methodist Church, followed by interment at Rosehill Cemetery, Hartman directing.
