Note: While the headstone is engraved with "December 22, 1900" as the death date for John Carroll Bradshaw, the death record on file at the Jefferson County courthouse (Recorders Office) has the official date as being December 23.

This entry will use the December 23 date as it is the official date, but acknowledge that the December 22 date may be viewed as equally valid in some family research trees. It is quite possible that the death occurred on the 22nd, but not reported until the 23rd, and recorded thus as being on the 23rd. Such errors are rare, but they do happen.
