Saturday, September 11, 1971

Mrs. Mae (BOWEN) KEESEY IMLER, 81, Akron, died at 6 a.m. Friday in Woodlawn hospital where she was a patient two days. She had been ill several years.

Born May 24, 1890 in Fulton county, she was the daughter of Mark and Clarrisa BOWEN. She had resided all her life in the Akron community. Her first marriage was Feb. 23, 1907 in Akron to Elmer KEESEY, who died in 1951. Her second marriage was in 1950 to Coy IMLER, who died in 1965. She was a member of the Akron Church of God.

Surviving are a son, Donald B. IMLER, of Anderson; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Delores KEESEY, Fort Wayne; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Preceding in death were a son, a great-granddaughter and three sisters.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Sheetz funeral home in Akron with the Rev. J.D. THOMASON officiating. Burial will be in the Omega cemetery southwest of Akron. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
