Surviving Mrs. Anderson is her husband and four children, Mrs. Oscar Barton, Jim, Virgil, and Mabel Anderson of Winnfield, and two brothers, Joe and Philip Brantley of Arcadia; a sister, Mrs. Jim Readhimer of Floydada, Texas, and a half sister, Mrs. Mattie Youngblood of Mt. Lebanon.
Relatives from out of town attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Brantley, Mrs. Hiser and two children, Eloise and Shelly; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Brantley and Leonard and Guy Brantley, and Clotile, Irene, and Grace Brantley, and Mrs. Julius Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Anders, of Arcadia. Others attending were Mrs. R. L. Oxley and son, Jesse Lee; John Williams Henry Haley
and Miss Stewart of Arcadia.
The love and esteem in which Mrs. Anderson was held was shown by the beautiful floral offering. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Baptist Church, having joined when she was eleven years old. She was 52 years old.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Webster Parish and moved with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Brantley, now deceased, to Arcadia during her girlhood days. She was married to J. E. Anderson in 1896.
