Paul was born January 23, 1918 in Ohio, Illinois, the son of Henry Christian Albrecht and Harriet G. (Martin) Albrecht. He married V. Geneve Long on March 3, 1946 at Wesley Foundation Chapel in Urbana, Illinois. She preceded in death on September of 1987. He then married Jean Littlewood on December 30, 1989 at the Red Oak Methodist Church in Walnut, Illinois.
He attended North Central College in Naperville and graduated from the University of Illinois. He farmed in the Walnut and Ohio area and sold DeKalb Seed Corn for over 50 years during his lifetime.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Jeannine Griffith; four grandchildren, Paul, Judy, Wende and Rita Griffith; one great granddaughter, Caitlin Griffith; two stepchildren, Jean E.(Richard) Welker and David (Tanya) Littlewood; two step grandchildren, Elizabeth and Catherine Littlewood; two brothers, Robert (Emma) Albrecht and Dean (Patricia) Albrecht; two sisters, Evangeline Guither and Mary (Bert) Skelton; one foster sister, Frieda Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, one brother, John and three grandsons.
Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery.
