Graveside services for James E. Buchanan, 63, of 126 Edgewood Avenue will be Monday at 10 a. m. in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Seale, Ala. The Rev. Kenneth Parker will officiate.
Mr. Buchanan lived in LaGrange most of his life and was a retired painter, a Baptist and veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Parker, Mrs. Brenda Sims and Mrs. Beverly Mitchell; three sons, Aaron Buchanan and Billy Ray Buchanan, all of LaGrange, and Wayne Buchanan of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtice Moody of Warm Springs, Mrs. Mildred Cofield and Mrs. Dorothy Yarbrough, both of LaGrange, and Mrs. Emma Mitchell of Opelika; one brother, George Buchanan of Dalton; and 14 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Claude A. McKibben & Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville.
