Mrs. Beverly Francis Mitchell, of LaGrange, passed away on January 5, 2022. She was born in LaGrange to Margaret Witten Buchanan Westberry and the late James Eugene Buchanan on April 28, 1961. In addition to her father, her brother, Billy Ray Buchanan precedes her in death. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her children, Lamar Lester, Ricky Hall Mitchell, Francis Irene Lester and Pamala Mitchell; her siblings, Margaret Parker, Brenda Sims, James Aaron Buchanan (Elaine) and Eddie Wayne Buchanan (Vickey); her 6 grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends before the service from noon until service time on Saturday. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Meadoway Gardens in LaGrange.
