5 Oct 1950, Miss Davis, Owen Native, Dies Friday, Miss Louisa Davis, 65 years old, a native of Owen County, died Friday night in a nursing home in Indianapolis, after a long illness. She was a daughter of the late Abe Davis, of this county. She was commonly called Aunt Lou and is well known by many of our readers. She is the last of her family with the exception of one half-sister, Mrs. Hazel Ooley, of Brazil, IN. Final rites were held Sunday afternoon at t2 o'clock in the Spencer Christian Chrush, Rev. C. A. Underwood, in charge, and interment was made in Riverside Cemetery. Other relatives include Mrs. T. J. Parrish, Spencer ste, and Ralph Sindlinger, of Indianapolis. The deceased was an aunt of Mr. Sidlinger and Mrs. Parrish.
