Leola Kocherhans Mangus, 72, died Friday, April 8, 1988 at the University Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah of a stoke. She was born August 24, 1915 in Lovell, Wyoming, the daughter of John H. and Eliza Eleanor Kocherhans. She attended the Lovell schools and spent her entire life in Lovell. On March 15, 1933 she married Clarence Raymond Mangus in Billings, Montana. This marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 24, 1954. Mr. Mangus died January 28, 1983. She was a homemaker and served in many church callings. Her home was always open to friends and loved ones.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth of Billings, Montana and John Lee of Lovell; four daughters, Shirley Tew of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Garnet Sorenson of Tooele, Utah, Sidra Goodman of Anchorage, Alaska, and Sylvia Crosby of Lovell, Wyoming; three brothers, Rupert Kocherhans of Pleasant Grove, Utah, Henry Kocherhans of Joseph City, Arizona, and Leo Kocherhans of Lovell, Wyoming; 46 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Fay and a daughter, Sandra.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 12, 1988 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lovell Wyoming Stake Center with Bishop Von B. Zeller officiating. Burial will be in the Lovell Cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.
