Born June 1, 1905 in Lovell, Wyoming, to John Henry and Eliza Elenor Asay Kocherhans. Married Inez Verona Johnson, June 1, 1926, in Lovell, Wyoming. She died October 23, 1988. Active member LDS Church, holding the office of HIgh Priest, Pleasant Grove 12th Ward. Had served as Bishop and member of stake high council while living in Lovell, Wyoming. Had served two missions with his wife. Had been a cattle rancher in Wyoming and an insurance agent while living in Mesa, Arizona.Survived by five sons and a daughter, John Rex Kocherhans and Mrs. Marion D. (Renee) Ladd, both of Provo; C. Jay Kocherhans, Mesa, Arizona; Arthur J. Kocherhans, Fullerton, California; Phillip J. Kocherhans, West Valley City; Gilbert J.
