Dewey True Emmett was born in Lovell, Feb. 9, 1903. He was the ninth child of Moses M. Emmett and Florence O. Allen Emmett. He grew up in Lovell, attended its schools, and engaged in farming and livestock activities here. Since 1946 he has farmed in the Bridger and Selisia, Mont. areas.

Feb. 20, 1927, he married Beatrice Dennett of Springdale, Utah who survives him. Surviving also are three children, Lloyd Ogden, Portland, Ore.; Dewey D. Emmett, associated with his father in farming at Selisia, and Mrs. John Chillberg of Billings, Mont.; ten grandchildren, six brothers and four sisters, M. Simpson Emmett of Mesa, Ariz.; Paul, Herman, G. Swan, Forrest M. all of Lovell, and Jay of Joliet, Mont.; Mrs. Florence E. Curtis of Salt Lake City, Utah, Gladys Emmett of Lovell, Hilda Poage of Powell and Mrs. Minnie E. Schmidt of Asbury, New Jersey.
