Born in Smith Valley September 4, 1907, he was a son of Henry and Cora Mae (Stake) Parks. He married Elizabeth Pincher, who survives. He was an employee of K & C Transport Co. of Baltimore.
In addition to his wife, other survivors are: two sons, Arthur J. Park, U. S. Army Smoky Hill Air Force Base, Salina, Kansas; Edwin Fred Parks, at home; these brothers and sisters: Harry, Robertsdale; Homer, Cassville; Mrs. Alma Geier, Robertsdale, Mrs. Martha Blair, Aitch R. D.; Mrs. Ada Whitsel, Mount Union.
He was a member of St. John of Hamilton Methodist Church.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. in the Todd Methodist Church with the Rev. Samuel Kissiel officiating. Burial in the Trough Creek Cemetery, Todd. Friends may call at the McClain Funeral Home after 7 o'clock this evening.
