"Ken Hogan, of Two Island Lake, passed away peacefully in St. Joseph's Hospice on Monday, August 2, 2004 after an extremely courageous and long battle with cancer. He was 62.

He worked many years at Saskatchewan Wheat Pool as an Accountant/Personnel Superintendent retiring March 31, 2001. Ken always had a smile for everyone and enjoyed life immensely, especially when curling. Ken was a member of the Port Arthur Curling Club, serving on the Board as Finance Chairman for 2 years, a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Thunder Bay, serving as treasurer and past Chairperson & Treasurer of the Jacques Local Roads Board.

He will be mourned greatly by his wife Sharon, sons Peter and Steven, daughter Donna and step daughter Lisa (Aaron), Julien & grandson Joshua, mother Kay, brothers David, Michael, Paul, Frank and their families, sisters Maureen, Patricia and Anne-Marie and their families as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Joseph and nephew Bill.

A funeral service for the late Mr. Ken Hogan will be held on Friday, August 6th at 11:00 am in St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Fr. Peter Groulx officiating. Inurnment of ashes will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

If friends so desire, donations in Ken's memory can be made to the Hospice Unit at St. Joseph's Hospital"
