Eli Hampshire, 90, retired farmer of the St. Louisville vicinity, died at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Sherman Nursing Home. He lived in the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Crawford, 74 Wilwood Avenue for three years and more than a year ago was admitted to the nursing home.
His wife preceded him in death Sept. 17, 1947, and he leaves his daughter Mrs. Crawford of Newark and a son, Robert Hampshire of Dallas TX; also five grandchildren. He was the last of his generation.
Burial was made in Evans Cemetery in St. Louisville.
