Mrs. Jeanette Garrison, 78, Rushville, died at 1:10 p.m. Monday at the Jackson Nursing Home in Rushville.

Mrs. Garrison was born in Rushville, the daughter of John and Katie Cohee McCarty. She lived in Rushville most of her life. She was married to Oliver Garrison Sept. 6, 1919, and he preceded her in death April 28, 1960.

She is survived by two sons: Richard Garrison, Greensburg, and Robert Garrison, Shelbyville; two daughters: Mrs. Glen (Marjory) Boggs, East Burstead, Ky., and Mrs. Charles Robert (Beverly) Palmer, R.R.1, Manilla; two brothers, Perry McCarty, California and Pleasant McCarty, Louis, Del.; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Marie) Cranfill, Raleigh; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son and three brothers.

The services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Moster and Sons Mortuary in Rushville with Lt. Douglas Yeck officiating and with burial in the East Hill Cemetery. Friends, may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday.
