Mrs. Carrie Taylor Dies; Rites Friday
Mrs. Carrie Taylor, 80, who resided at 1006 Southern Ave., died this morning in the Homestead Nursing Home in Spiceland following an extended illness.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Hancock Co. and had resided in New Castle for the past 50 years. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. J. Walter Raber of New Castle and Mrs. Wilma Beaman of Athol, MA; a grandson, Charles Edward Beaman; and a granddaughter, Sandra Lou Beaman.
Friends may call at the Main and Sons Funeral Home after 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Services will be conducted at the funeral home Friday morning at 11 o'clock with Rev. R. Melvyn Thompson officiating. Burial will be in South Mound Cemetery.
