ACKERMAN - Chester E. Blanton, 65, a retired master mechanical welder, died Aug. 13, 1994.

Funeral services were held Aug. IS at 11 a.m. from the Adams-Nowell Funeral Home Chapel in Ackerman with the Rev. Jimmy Flake officiating and interment in Enon Cemetery in Ackerman. Adams-Nowell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Blanton was a member of Ackerman Presbyterian Church, American Legion, Veteran of Foreign Wan and Masonic Lodge 1 19- Ackerman.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna Jane Benton of Grove, Okla. and Pamela Sue Ward of Laurel; sons, Christopher Ellis Blanton of Grove, Okla., Carlton Reid Blanton of Tulsa, Okla., Aaron Wynn Loney of Wheelsburg, Ohio and Jeffery Lee Loney of Ackerman; sister, Annie Lee Sugg of Eupora; brother, Carl L. Blanton of Aurora, ILL; and six grandchildren.
