Born March 17, 1914, in Watauga County, she was a daughter of Joseph and Parthania Church Baird.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence D. Spangler and a great-granddaughter, Tiffany Stevens.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Liberty United Methodist Church in Matney officiated by the Rev. Bill McGuire. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Liberty-Matney Community Cemetery.
