Kathryn Kay Good, 87, of Dayton, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in East Franklin Township. She was born Dec. 14, 1918, in McWilliams, a daughter of the late Donald E. and Daisy Ruth (Clever) Wadding. May 18, 1935, she married W. Blair Good, who preceded her in death April 29, 2001. Mrs. Good was a member of the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church and was also a former Deacon of the church. She was also a member of the Pomona State and the National Grange for 70 years. She was the past master of the Dayton Grange for four years. She was a former member of the Noble Grand of Rebecca Lodge and a past president of the Dayton PTA. Mrs. Good was a former Girl Scout leader and a 4-H leader for 28 years. She was very active in the Armstrong County Group Mounted Posse and was a former school bus driver for 16 years. Surviving relatives include a son; Bill Good and his wife Suzanne of Titusville; two daughters; Shirley Huff and her husband Thomas of Okeechobee, Fla., and Connie Miller and her husband Monty of Dayton; seven grandchildren; Kimberly Kerr, Shari Fleming, Thomas Huff, Chad Wood, Erik Wood, Christopher Good and Tyler Good; 10 great-grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and a brother, Gerald Wadding of Findley, Ohio. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert E. Wadding, Stanley F. Wadding, Blaine E. Wadding, Edward D. Wadding and Donald L. Wadding; and a sister; Mary Ellen Adamson. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at the Bauer-Bly Funeral Home Inc., 125 E. Main St., Dayton. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Donald Rising officiating. Interment will be in the Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Cemetery in Wayne Township, Armstrong County.
