FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN FLORIDA

Word has benn received in Sayre of the death of Elwood S. Bennett in Old Town, Fla. Mr. Bennett was a former resident of Sayre, the son of the B. Frank and Nellie (Kittle) Bennett, who were pioneer residents of the borough.
He left this section about 35 or 40 years ago.
Surviving are: four sisters, Mrs. W. L. Taylor of sayre, Mrs. Emily Parliament of Athens, Mrs. Burton Genung of Waverly and Miss Sofia M. Bennett of Rochester; two brothers, J. K. Bennett of Towanda and D. W. Bennett of Sayre.
The body will be shipped to Sayre for funeral and burial, which will be held from the Kolb and Slingerland funeral home, 126 North Elmer avenue, at a date to be announced.
