Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother died June 26, 2009 following a stroke.

Born April 3, 1923 in Murray, Utah to Edwin and Mary Jane Price Poole.

He married Catherine Marcina Beard on September 24, 1943 in Norman, Oklahoma. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She preceded him in death on March 23, 1978. Bob and Kay were the parents of three children, Marcina, Robert Jr., and Deberah. Bob married Jane Goss Post on the 13th of November 1978 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple along with the addition of two children to the family, Jack Johnston, and Susie Post.

Bob served with distinction for nine and 1/2 years in the US Navy during World War II, and served aboard the USS Rushmore as Chief Petty Officer. He was a Murrayite at heart having served on numerous community councils, in the Jaycees and Murray Chamber of Commerce. He was founder and operator of United Model & Paint Supply a hobby shop in Murray.

Active member of the LDS Church, having served in the Louisiana Baton Rogue mission with his wife Jane and faithfully in numerous other callings in the Murray, South Cottonwood, and Riverton areas.

Bob is survived by his wife, Jane; children - Jack Johnston (Vicky), Susie Ballstaedt (Noel), Marcina Button, Robert Jr. (Julie), Deberah Seare (William), 23 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, sister, Margaret O'Brien, and "Dolly".

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the Riverton Sixteenth Ward Chapel, 1208 West 12400 South, where family and friends may call from 10:00-11:30 a.m.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
