Woodrow "Vic" Bertapelle, 79, of Sterling died on Sunday, January 25, 1998 in Sterling.
Visitation was Tuesday. January 27 at the Tennant Funeral Home. Rosary will be 7 p.m., January 27 at the Tennant Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28 at the Riverside Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Whipkey officiating.
He was born on January 23, 1919 in Iliff to Anthony and Mary (Piazza) Bertapelle. He lived in the Logan County area
for approximately 16 years before moving to California. He was a member of the Coast Guard from 1940 to 1945. He resided in California and worked for Mantico Tile Cor poration returning to Sterling in 1985 when he retired.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Carrie Michieli, Helen Fachinello; and brothers, Rudolph and Fred Bertapelle.
He is survived by daughter, Diana Bertapelle and brother, Arthur Bertapelle.
