ISABELLE COLLINS
Isabelle Thelma Collins, 70, of 1620 West Second Blvd. died at 7:45 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at the Kimberly Manor Nursing Home.
A resident of Rock Springs for the past three months, Mrs. Collins had been in ill health since July.
She was born March 26, 1908 in Belmont, S.D., the daughter of the late Amos and Esther Lindsay Franke. She attended schools in Belmont and was a member of the Methodist Church.
She married Lyle Collins Nov. 19, 1939 in Broadus, Mont., and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1976.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Michael (LaVonne) Hennewinkel and Mrs. Gene (Bonnie) Dexheimer, both of Rock Springs; one son, Bob Collins of Belle Fourche, S.D.; five brothers, Ardell Franke, Quintus Franke and Arnold Franke, all of Belle Fourche; two sisters, Mrs. Henry (LaVelle) Hantz of Belle Fourche and Mrs. Gladys Jones of Pierre, S.D.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by one brother, Creston and infant twins.
Mrs. Collins’ body was returned to Frost Funeral Home in Belle Fourche, S.D., for funeral services and interment there.
