Funeral for Betty Jean Callahan, 76, of Hartselle will be Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating.
Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Callahan, who died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton, was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Morgan County to Rufus H. and Mae Roberts McGregor. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sparkman Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Callahan; her parents and stepfather, S.B. Long; and brothers, Calvin McGregor and Curtis McGregor.
Survivors include her niece and caregiver, Sandra Kimbrough and her husband, Eric, of Hartselle; two sisters, Coree Vest of Hartselle and Christine Buckner of Tallassee; and other nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Sparkman Street Church of Christ building fund and the Humane Society of Morgan County.
