Funeral for Curtis Donald McGregor Sr., 77, of Hartselle will be Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crow and Dr. Scotty Hogan officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. McGregor, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital, was born Dec. 13, 1929, in Morgan County to Rufus H. McGregor and Mae Roberts McGregor. He was a member and deacon of Southwest Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Elsie Scott McGregor; one son, Curtis D. McGregor II and wife Janice; two daughters, Donna Brainard and husband Randy, of Decatur, and Judy Lindsey and husband Noland, of Russellville; three sisters, Betty Callahan of Decatur, Coree Vest of Hartselle, and Christine Buckner of Tallassee; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. grandsons.
