OCALA -- Paul R. Pruitt, 80, a retired television and radio technician for Marion County School Board, died Monday, March 12, 2001, at Ocala Regional Medical Center.
A native of Gray, Okla., he moved here from Oklahoma in 1936. Mr. Pruitt was a member of New Testament Baptist Church and Ocala Flying Model Club.
Survivors include his wife, Merlene Pruitt, Ocala; sons, Bruce Pruitt, Anthony, Steve Pruitt, Silver Springs, William Pruitt and Warren Bullard, both of Ocala; sister, Harriet Savage, Tavares; brothers, Charles Pruitt, Lufkin, Texas, Robert Pruitt, Searcy, Ark., and Frank Pruitt, Ocala; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
